Antonio Olivas-Martinez
Hello, I’m Antonio.
I’m a physician and biostatistician based in Philadelphia. My professional path began in mathematics, continued through medicine and internal medicine, and eventually led me to biostatistics. That combination shapes how I approach health research, with attention to both statistical rigor and clinical context.
At the University of Pennsylvania, my postdoctoral work is mentored by Eric Tchetgen Tchetgen, Enrique Schisterman, and Ellen Caniglia. My current projects include causal inference in complex settings and updating the SART IVF prediction models. My methodological research draws on semiparametric theory and flexible estimation, particularly for problems involving unmeasured confounding, proxy variables, and inverse problems.
